Benjamin Graham Intrinsic Value Calculator
Never wonder if you're overpaying for a share of a business ever again!
The Benjamin Graham Intrinsic Value Calculator ($20 Value) uses the formula created by Warren Buffet's mentor and the powerful Google Finance tools available in Google Sheets to pull current stock information and determine the underlying value of almost any stock available in the U.S. stock exchange.
Simply enter the stock ticker (Example for Amazon: AMZN) and the calculator will utilize the founder of modern value investing's formula for intrinsic value to give a buy or don't buy rating for the given stock.
The calculator is customizable if you want to use more rigorous metrics to calculate value. It features a manual entry column for stocks whose information is not currently available through Google Finance. You can even set your own margin of safety to create more rigorous (or more risky) buy ratings.
This tool is perfect for intermediate investors who want a quick way of filtering companies that are currently trading at or near intrinsic value.
Note: Because the purchase format is Google-based, you will need a Google Drive account in order to access it. These accounts are free. It cannot be saved & used as an Excel file because Microsoft does not currently support Google Financial functions.
Disclaimer: the information provided in this template does not constitute financial advice and it is to be used only for information filtering purposes only. Buy ratings are subject to one's own application of margin of safety and investments should be based on more rigorous criteria before money is ante'd up.
You'll get a powerful calculator that can determine the underlying value of any U.S. publicly traded stock.
